Equipped with enhanced features for combat and self-defense, the FN FNX™ 45 Tactical Semi-Auto Pistol with Trijicon RMR Type 2 Red Dot Sight Combo offers hammer-fired reliability in a polymer frame pistol. The cold hammer-forged stainless steel barrel comes with a polished chamber and feed ramp for reliable feeding and extraction; and the barrel is threaded (.578×28 tpi) for attaching aftermarket suppressors (includes thread protector). Raised 3-dot night sights are standard, and allow using the sights with a suppressor attached to the barrel. The slide of the FNX tactical pistol is constructed of stainless steel, with serrations on both the front and rear to provide a solid grip when loading, or clearing the weapon. 2 included mounting bases allow attaching aftermarket electronic sights directly to the cut slide. The slide makes solid contact with steel rails on a replaceable steel sub frame within the polymer frame, and a steel recoil spring guide rod enhances reliability and longevity. The grip portion of the polymer frame can be adjusted to fit the user's hand perfectly with 2 interchangeable backstraps, and the frame has an integral Picatinny rail. The slide and frame are finished in Flat Dark Earth (FDE); and the decocking/safety, mag release, and slide release are ambidextrous. The Trijicon® RMR® (Ruggedized Miniature Reflex Sight) Type 2 Red Dot Sight allows you to shoot with your head up and both eyes open to maximize situational awareness by eliminating blind spots. Infinite eye relief and a 3.25 MOA red-dot reticle provide rapid target acquisition, as well as accurate shot placement. This red dot sight features a sensor, which automatically adjusts the brightness of the illuminated red dot based on ambient lighting conditions. Windage and elevation adjust in 1-MOA clicks without special tools. The adjustment dials are fully protected to maintain zero during rough use and do not require caps. The hard-anodized, 7075-T6 forged aluminum housing is fully sealed, and waterproof. The Trijicon RMR Type 2 Red Dot Sight runs on 1 CR2032 Lithium battery. The FN FNX Tactical Semi-Auto Pistol comes with 2 magazines, constructed of polished, nickel coated steel, and a fitted, soft Cordura® nylon case. RMR is included but not factory mounted. Ships in two separate boxes.
